Shutters are the one window treatment that becomes part of the house. They are built into the opening rather than hung in front of it, they move with the room, and they stay when the furniture changes.
We specify hardwood where the grain matters, hybrid and composite for high-traffic rooms, and polysatin for bathrooms, kitchens and sun-exposed windows where real wood would warp or fade. Every shutter is measured and built for the opening it fills, including arches, angles and specialty shapes, then installed with the frame and hinges finished to match.
Louver size changes the look as much as the color does. Wider louvers give a cleaner view through and a more contemporary line. Narrower louvers read more traditional. We bring both to the window so you can see the difference before you decide.
